Manchester United’s Eastern Europe scout was in the stands to watch a striker target during Fenerbahce’s 3-1 defeat against Alanyaspor on Monday night.

Fanatik have confirmed that Krsto Kilibarda was alongside Cenk Melih Yazici, who is the agent of Juventus’ Turkish defender Merih Demiral, as he watched Kosovan striker Vedat Muriqi in action.

Kilibarda is said to have taken plenty of notes on the Fenerbahce frontman, who recently scored against England in a Euro 2020 qualifier, and was impressed overall – with Muriqi involved in Fenerbache’s only goal of the game.

Since joining the Super Lig side in the summer, Muriqi has been in impressive form, prompting interest from United and Tottenham – who also scouted the player in recent weeks.

The Turkish newspaper adds that Kilibarda will continue to watch the attacker and report back to Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer until the end of the season.
