Man Utd see latest Wan-Bissaka bid rejected due to unrealistic clause

Crystal Palace have reportedly rejected a second bid for Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United because of questionable add-ons in the deal.

Eagles supremo Steve Parish is said to want a guaranteed £50 million for the England Under-21 right-back, but The Guardian reports that he is unimpressed with the terms of the deal, which could see his valuation of the player never fully realised.

The report goes on to state that the second bid made by United contained a £35m fee with an additional £15m in add-ons, dependent upon personal and collective honours – one of which is reported to involve Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men winning the Champions League.

Palace, who under no pressure to sell one of their top young stars, are said to want more cash up front if they are to agree to any deal.

United are expected to undergo a major revamp this summer after finishing sixth in the Premier League last season and are in the hunt for a new right-back after releasing veteran club captain Antonio Valencia.

It is claimed that any negotiations for Palace’s current Player of the Year will only resume after the Champions League clause is removed.

Palace are also concerned that they could lose their two star players this summer, with winger Wilfried Zaha also being linked with a move to Arsenal or Liverpool.
