Jan Oblak: Linked with Arsenal switch

Paris Saint-Germain are set to rival Manchester United for two Madrid-based La Liga stars, according to a report.

The Ligue 1 leaders want Toni Kroos and Jan Oblak and are prepared to do battle with the Red Devils in order to snap them up, according to El Chiringuito.

Both Kroos and Oblak have been linked with moves to Old Trafford previously, especially the latter were the Red Devils to lose David De Gea.

Transfer expert Eduardo Inda had his say on the situation, as stated on Calciomercato.com: “PSG have two objectives who are in Madrid. One is Jan Oblak and the other is Toni Kroos. They’re ready to throw the kitchen sink to buy them.

“I don’t think that Kroos wants to leave, but it’s about money. Neymar wasn’t going to leave either, but PSG’s cheque broke Financial Fair Play and voilà.”

Recent reports have suggested that PSG must sell if they wish to recruit more top players. After spending over €400million on Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in the summer, rumours have claimed that Lucas Moura, Angel Di Maria and Javier Pastore could all leave the Parisiens.
