Man Utd told asking price for Dortmund ace as Juve enter the fray

Jadon Sancho TEAMtalk

Manchester United are reportedly facing some major competition for Jadon Sancho, while Borussia Dortmund have also named their price for the attacker.

Calciomercato claims that Serie A giants Juventus are ready to enter the fray to land the England international, who was previously on Man City’s books before heading to Germany on a free transfer.

But with interest hotting up in the 18-year-old, Dortmund are said to have slapped a £70million asking price on the winger, who has scored five goals and added seven assists in 17 appearances for the Bundesliga side this season.

Jose Mourinho’s future at Old Trafford may be hanging by a thread, but it is still reported that he will handed a £100m transfer kitty to strengthen his squad in January, and Sancho is very much on his radar.

The Portuguese tactician is still desperate to sign a new centre-back at the turn of the year but would be willing to spend the majority of his budget on Sancho, if United could negotiate a slightly lower fee to allow them to also sign a defender.

Anthony Martial’s return to form has lifted United, but it has coincided with Romelu Lukaku’s struggles and also the failure of Alexis Sanchez to replicate the form he showed at Arsenal – leaving Mourinho to seriously consider adding some fresh firepower to his struggling side.
