Man Utd, Wolves to miss out as £35m target wants Juve move

Manchester United and Wolves appear to have lost out in the race to sign Joao Cancelo from Valencia, according to reports.
The right-back impressed during a loan spell at Inter Milan last season, and his form has caught the attention of another Serie A club.
According to AS, Juventus are leading the race to sign the Portuguese defender, who missed out on a place in his country’s World Cup squad.
Cancelo is valued at £35m, which has priced Inter out of a deal to take him to San Siro permanently.
Newly promoted Premier League club Wolves were hoping to tempt the 24-year-old by offering significant wages, but Cancelo has decided his future lies at Juventus.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are considering other targets for their full-back areas, with ex-Newcastle man Kevin Mbabu the latest name to be linked.
Mbabu played a major role at right-back as Young Boys won their first Swiss Super League title for over 30 years last season, and his form has seen him attract the interest of Premier League clubs again.
