Mason Greenwood is the subject of a bold claim from Manchester United fans and three Liverpool stars are backed to improve against Chelsea following the club’s 2-0 defeat to Napoli – all in Your Says of the Day.
Greenwood is a better finisher than Rashford.
Another well predicted game then… knew we’d struggle to break them down. The shameful thing is that our kids show more heart and skill than our first team players:
Gomes is a better attacking midfielder than Lingard and is a better corner taker than any of the first team players.
Greenwood is a better finisher than 200K a week Rashford.
Tuanzebe is a better CB than Jones and Lindelof.
Honestly, I’d give Tuanzebe a start ahead of Lindelof against West Ham. Also think Fred should play next to McTominay with Pogba in the attacking midfield role.

It wouldn’t be too difficult to be a better finisher than Rashford, who really has got s*** for brains when it comes to making the right choices. The more I watch him the more he just resembles a slimmer version of Emile Heskey.
Like the look of Greenwood, two footed and seems to have a cool head for one so young. Let’s hope he can kick on now and get more minutes, and hopefully goals.
Fuck knows who else is going to score enough goals for us to do anything decent this season if he doesn’t, simple as that.
It’s no surprise that we struggle to break teams down when our only attacking option seems to be getting the ball out wide and putting in crosses when we have no one who can head the f****** ball! Fortunately, I expect Pogba and Matic to be gone next season so that we can (hopefully) re-build the midfield with some creative players. Tuanzebe is a far better option than that Swedish donkey and should replace him immediately, Fred needs to be in midfield and we need to give Dalot and Greenwood more games from now on. That would improve the team immediately imo.
Chelsea lost Mount tuther day and that was blow for them. Good player but one that created havoc for us when he came on in the Super Cup recently was Abraham – he’s gonna have a bright career.
Chelsea have been up and down all season which is understandable losing two regular starters for them in Luiz and Hazard and a new manager but they’ll be up for this and Lamps will want to win his first ever game as manager at Stamford Bridge.
Don’t think it’ll happen as the best thing for us was losing the other night – brought us down a peg or two and think we will bounce back and win this 2-1 with Giroud scoring his customary goal against us says. So says this fella too!

Very tough game in my view. First time this season I don’t think
We will win.
We are conceding goals. Chelsea are scoring goals.the same can be said about them really. Always a very tough place to go. They were well up for it in the super league. They be well up for it and out padding had to be sharp as they will press us from the off
Of course Kanté will be back.
I should be more confident but just a few feeling about this one
I’d take a draw

Another tough game but I still think we can win this. The front 3 won’t be as wasteful in front of goal for 2 games in a row.
Coupla slight changes to the team but more or less the same as the other night.
TAA, Matip, VVD, Robbo
Hendo, Fabinho, Gini
Salah, Firmino, Mané
As for the game, this is the first game that weve played in a long while where I feel we could win, lose or draw. I think Mount is injured which is a good thing as he has been impressive. They do have the players to do a ‘Napoli’ on us so we have to be careful but I also think their defence isnt all that so we have the chance to score on them.
I’ll take a draw 2-2. Regroup and move on to some ‘easier’ games lol
Mwake, “I’ll take a draw 2-2. Regroup and move on to some ‘easier’ games lol”
Me too mate!😊

This could be tricky, Haller looks a quality striker and he could cause us problems. They’re an improving side and they won’t fear us at home. I’d like to see Greenwood start again in the middle ahead of Martial and/or Rashford but I don’t think it will happen. Nevertheless, I think we’ll scrape it, 1-0 to United again. We’re going to be boring, boring Utd for the season.
Tough game if WH are up for it and the ref allows them to kick us all over the park.
I’ll go for a safe 1-1, though it will depend what team we are able to field due to injuries.
having James, Pogba and Martial available will help a lot as West Ham won’t sit back and defend like most other teams.

Great result and clean sheet…. you would think that’s perfect but performance was again poor. They had over 20 attempts on goal and had they had a forward they wood have scored a few. We were better than Saturday but still had very little control on the game and the midfield were to easy to play through. I thought Xhaka Martinez and Saka Had a good game Saka was not outstanding he still looks nervous but he seems to have a final ball and great goal.
Better result, but not great performance. Keeper my man of the match. Are Willock, Smith rowe related to AMN by any chance. They both lost possession and gave the ball away too much 🙂
Saka young and a bit overawed, however, great goal.
Pepe, starting to worry me. Early days, but needs to show some potential and get amongst the goal scorers. In my mind a bit of a left footed, Prima Donna. Hope I’m wrong.
Chambers is not and never will be a full back.
In summation. We were lucky after their poor finishing and good goalkeeping by Martinez. Defense will need money and better players in centre to stop pressure on back four. Until we improve this, I don’t think any back line stands a chance, and we all know ours is not of the best to start with.
Great result but we were wide open again and stretched as a team. So no improvement from the last game.
I dont think Emery has a clue on how to fix it or if he even wants to adress it.
Slightly off thread but to save a new thread Willian would like to sign a new contract!
“From my side, I want to stay,” Willian told Standard Sport. “I have one year left and I want to stay because I like to play for Chelsea. I love this club, I love to live in London and my family loves it here. I have been here six years already so everything is perfect for me.
“Of course [there is more I want to do at Chelsea], win the Champions League! I want to win more titles here, I want to play more games, to score more goals so everything that I can do, I will try hard to do.”

50 something goals in over 300 appearances needs to be improved on but he is a handy squad player these days and can still do a job as he showed at Wolves 🙂
I hear Willian is desperate for a new Chelsea contract, and why wouldn’t he? he is earning more than £100k without contributing significantly. the club is right to wary about giving him a new contract. after six years at the club, and is in the wrong side of 30s, and not many inspiring performances and no end product. which club would rush to give a contract to such player? and by the way the spot he is taking in the squad could have gone to someone more productive. the club is right to wait and see what might happen. but for now i don’t think it’s wise to rush into giving him a new deal.
Besides that some are preaching that he has played good against Wolves. can you name one moment in which he has made a significant contribution in that game? the answer is no! and then again can remind me when was the last time he has taken a game on his own? again i don’t seem to remember. Chelsea as whole has played excellent against Wolves. you can’t mention that many bad players apart from moments of lapse in concentration.
I find Willian does well against your weaker teams only. I have nothing against him but feel when all these younger highly talented players are all fit plus Pulsic and Pedro his place will be in danger and his not going to like that remember in Contes time he wanted to leave same as Luiz.
