Manchester City learn £35m price tag for Fulham defender; Inter and AC Milan are also interested

Fulham have reportedly put a hefty £35m price tag on in-demand left-back Antonee Robinson, who has put in some fine performances this season.
Premier League champions Manchester City are said to be interested in signing the defender at the end of the season, while other clubs are also vying for his signature.
The Cottagers have enjoyed a fantastic start to the current campaign after only being promoted to the Premier League last season, so Marco Silva will be keen to keep hold of his key player.
Fulham signed Robinson back in 2020 and he has gradually earned himself a consistent spot in Silva’s starting XI.
The London club currently find themselves in eighth place in the league table, just eight points adrift from the top four.
The English defender has been key to his team’s success, helping his side to six clean sheets. While Robinson is solid at the back, he also has the energy to get forward and play as an effective wing-back.
This season, he has averaged 0.8 successful crosses per game, along with 0.6 key passes. The likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Willian and Bobby Decordova-Reid have thrived off his service.
Thanks to his solid displays, Fulham have slapped a £35m price tag on Robinson, according to the Sun, with Manchester City, Inter Milan and AC Milan all interested in a summer move.
Pep Guardiola eyes Robinson as Cancelo replacement
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is thought to be a big fan of Robinson, so he may indeed look to move for him in the summer.
Former City full-back Joao Cancelo made a shock deadline day move to Bayern Munich, so the Spaniard may consider the Fulham player as a long-term replacement for him.
Robinson began his career at Everton, where despite featuring frequently for the under-21s, he failed to make a single senior appearance.
He then joined Wigan Athletic for a fee of £2m in 2019, after enjoying a successful loan spell at the club. After two years with the Latics, Robinson signed for Fulham in 2020 for the same amount – penning a contract until June 2024.
Over his entire career, Robinson has amassed 188 senior appearances, scoring four goals and making 12 assists. He has also become a key part of the United States national team, playing every minute of their Qatar World Cup campaign as they reached the round of 16.
With that in mind, there is no doubting his ability and with youth on his side, the Fulham player still has potential to get even better.
However, with many clubs in the race for Robinson, City may ultimately have to pay in excess of his £35m price tag to get a deal over the line.
Money is not exactly a problem for the Cityzens, however, so there’s a good chance he could be heading to the Etihad next season, if Fulham decide to let him leave.
