Manchester United defender Luke Shaw is set to reject a move to Fenerbahce in order to stay and fight for his first team place.
According to the Daily Mail, Shaw may be allowed to leave Old Trafford in January should a suitable offer arrive for the full-back.
However, the former Southampton man has no interest in moving to Turkey despite Fenerbahce’s admiring glances.
The 22-year-old cost Manchester United £27million back in 2014 and suffered a tough season last campaign, with boss Jose Mourinho openly criticising him on multiple occasions.
Shaw suffered a broken leg in United’s Champions League clash with PSV back in 2015, at which point he was first-choice left-back, but has never regained that spot.
He has played just 48 minutes of senior football this season for the Red Devils, both substitute appearances in the Carabao Cup against Burton Albion and Swansea City respectively.
