Marrow back from ban for Latics

The on-loan Blackburn midfielder missed last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Norwich through suspension but comes back into contention for a starting role this weekend.

However, the Latics have been dealt a blow with the news that full-back Andy Holdsworth could be out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to overcome tendonitis in the knee.

Oldham’s squad has already been depleted by a succession of long-term injuries, with midfielder Jon Worthington and striker Pawel Abbott among those sidelined.

Centre-back Reuben Hazell (calf) and midfielder Chris Taylor (hamstring) both missed the defeat at Carrow Road and are also ruled out of this weekend’s clash.

Oldham have only one win in 11 games and have scored just two goals in their last seven matches.
