Mido claims to have inside track on Salah’s Liverpool future

Mohamed Salah TEAMtalk

Mido believes that his fellow countryman Mohamed Salah will stay with Liverpool for the foreseeable future.

Salah was on the target in last week’s 4-0 win over West Ham to get his season up and running after last term’s goalscoring heroics.

Fresh from signing a new long-term deal in July, the dynamic forward looked as sharp as ever – taking just 19 minutes to open his account against the Hammers.

And Mido, 35, thinks the forward will be around at Anfield for three or four years to come.

“I’ve spoken to people around him, he’s very happy and he wants to stay at Liverpool as long as he can,” said former Spurs striker Mido.

“He’s established himself at Liverpool and I think he will want to stay at Liverpool for another three or four years.

“Why would he want to leave?”

“Real Madrid are massive but Liverpool are not a small club. To be there and feel loved by the fans, that’s what every player dreams of.”
