Henrikh Mkhitaryan has reportedly set his heart on a move to Arsenal this summer after sending members of his family to go house-hunting in London.
The Borussia Dortmund star has reportedly told his friends that he is ready to leave his current club for a new challenge – and Arsenal lead the race for his signature.
His current deal expires at the end of the season and he has reportedly rejected a contract offer from Bundesliga giants.
And now he appears to be looking at houses in the area ahead of a potential move to the Gunners after being scouted throughout the season.
Liverpool are long-term admirers of the Borussia Dortmund star and Jurgen Klopp had pondered a move to bring him to Anfield.
Juventus have also shown an interest in a swoop.
Mino Raiola, the player’s agent, said last week: “Mkhitaryan? I know that [Massimiliano] Allegri likes him.
“And Micky would happily wear the Bianconeri shirt, but he needs to make a deal with [Thomas] Tuchel.
“It’s true that his contract expires in 2017, but the Dortmund coach deems him indispensable.”
But according to The Sun, Mkhitaryan favours a switch to Arsenal and will pocket a £8million a year deal at the Emirates, with Arsene Wenger keen to team him up with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil as part of the triumvirate behind their striker.
