Real Madrid will follow up a deal for Eden Hazard with an audacious move for Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, according to a French journalist.
The Canal+ journalist has claimed that “some initial approaches between Real Madrid & Mohamed Salah” have already taken place as Zinedine Zidane looks to reshape Madrid’s attack.
Big changes are expected in the Spanish capital this summer and L’Equipe claimed on Tuesday that Real would announce the signing of Eden Hazard after Chelsea’s Europa League final against Arsenal on May 29.
Hazard has said he has informed Chelsea of his decision and all the signs are that the Belgium playmaker is heading out of Stamford Bridge after the Europa League final showpiece in Baku.
The report from France adds that a fee of around €100million (£86million) was agreed a while ago, while Carayon says Real will then test the resolve of Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool with a move for Salah.

“Concerning Real Madrid and its reconstruction, after Hazard, Zidane and Real want another big striker,” Carayon told Canal+.
“It is Mohamed Salah. This is, after Hazard, their other priority.
“They want to build a super big trio of attack. We know that he (Zidane) does not want any more of Bale.
“With Salah, it flows naturally.”
If Carayon’s information is correct then Salah is the man that Real see as a replacement for Bale, but they will have to come up with around €180million for the 26-goal striker, who is under contract at Anfield until 2023.
Klopp and Liverpool will be desperate to keep hold of the Egypt forward, but Real, per the report, are still expected to test the Merseysiders’ resolve with a firm bid.
