Morecambe v Exeter City

Goalkeeper Barry Roche should be back for Morecambe as they look to pick up their first Sky Bet League Two win of the season against Exeter.

The stopper missed the 3-0 defeat at Portsmouth because of a stomach bug but is over the illness now and is expected to assume the gloves once more.

Midfielder Andrew Wright will be sidelined, though, after he was dismissed against Pompey for two first-half yellow cards.

Kevin Ellison and Marcus Marshall, unused substitutes at Fratton Park, could return to the starting line-up after hamstring injuries which would allow Padraig Amond to play up top, with Jack Redshaw (hip) a long-term injury victim.

Exeter look set to be boosted by the return of Scot Bennett and Jordan Moore-Taylor for the long trip to Morecambe.

The pair missed City’s 2-0 win over AFC Wimbledon last Saturday with knee injuries but they are set to come back into contention. Liam Sercombe’s groin injury looks to have ruled him out.

Paul Tisdale could keep faith with midfielders Matt Grimes, who made his debut for the club last weekend, and Matt Oakley who were two of the Grecians’ outstanding performers.

The likes of Alan Gow and Tommy Doherty are also pushing for starts as Exeter look to continue their unbeaten start to the Sky Bet League Two campaign.
