Mourinho blocks Ajax hotshot’s Man Utd move until summer

Jose Mourinho has reportedly blocked a move for Ajax striker Justin Kluivert to Manchester United until the summer.
The 18-year-old, who is the son of Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert, is regarded as one of the top young frontmen in Europe and has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford after private talks were supposedly held between the pair.
Mourinho was seen talking to the young attacker, who can also play out wide, following United’s Europa League final win over Ajax in May and while Spanish outlet Sport claims that Mourinho is a admirer of the Holland U-21 star, it also reports that the Red Devils chief has told the player to wait until the summer for a potential bid from United.

When asked about his conversation with Mourinho after the Europa League final, Kluivert told Algemeen Dagblad: “Mourinho did not have a second to discuss a transfer. He thought it was nice to see me.
“Mourinho knows me from the time that I was a little boy and my father played at Barcelona when Mourinho worked there as an assistant trainer.”
Mourinho is actively looking to freshen up his squad over the next two windows and with Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to move on in the summer there will be an option for at least another central striker to move to Old Trafford.
