Mourinho eyes shock return for Ibrahimovic to fix Man Utd issues

LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be set for a remarkable return to Manchester United, if the latest reports are to be believed.

The big Swede has recently been linked with a possible return to another one of his former clubs this coming January, namely AC Milan.

Ibrahimovic recently opened up about the struggles at United, insisting that the current squad are to blame for their struggles, not Jose Mourinho.

With Romelu Lukaku struggling to score and Alexis Sanchez also not finding form, the goals have somewhat dried up at Old Trafford.

Now, ESPN believe that Mourinho is considering a move to bring Ibrahimovic back to the club on loan in January.

Ibrahimovic’s influence in the dressing room is said to be the quality Mourinho most misses about the 37-year-old, with the ESPN story detailing how many of the squad looked up to Zlatan as the ‘cool older brother’.

In his absence, cliques and divisions are said to have developed, and Mourinho wants Zlatan back to help sort them out.
