Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will allow star goalkeeper David de Gea to leave the club on one condition, a report claims.

According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, the Champions League winners are planning a move for De Gea this summer as president Florentino Perez looks to replace Keylor Navas.

De Gea almost completed a move to Real back in 2015, only for a faulty fax machine to prevent a deadline day transfer going through.

Diario Gol claim that Mourinho wants to bring €100m-rated Atletico Madrid stopper Jan Oblak – who has also been linked with Real Madrid and Liverpool – to Old Trafford as a replacement.

De Gea was in sensational form for the Red Devils this season, winning the Premier League Golden Glove award as well as the club’s Player of the Year.

The Spaniard recently responded to claims that he could leave Old Trafford in the upcoming transfer window.

“Usually I’m always calm, the important thing now is to start the World Cup on June 15th,” said De Gea prior to Spain’s 1-1 friendly draw with Switzerland on Sunday.

“Is the most important thing. Do well in Russia, have a good role and do things in the best possible way.

“Future? I’m happy where I am, happy. Now, very focused on the national team.”
