Jose Mourinho is reportedly still willing to listen to Dele Alli this month, amid claims PSG could look to resurrect their interest in the Tottenham midfielder.

Tottenham have enjoyed a positive first half of the season, topping the Premier League table a few weeks ago, qualifying for the Europa League knockout stages and reaching the final of the Carabao Cup.

They also marched into the fourth round of the FA Cup courtesy of a 5-0 romp at Marine. While a big win was always expected, Mourinho after the game was able to praise a professional job.

Carlos Vinicius, with a hat-trick, and Lucas Moura with a stunning free-kick grabbed the headlines. Indeed, Moura spoke afterwards about where Tottenham’s priorities for this season lie.

However, it was the controlled performance of Dele Alli in midfield which set the tone. The England man looked calm and assured and help keep Spurs ticking over with a fine display.

After the game, Mourinho hinted that Alli would be afforded more chances in his midfield.

However, Don Balon claims Mourinho still has reservations about Alli and they claim he could still be moved on this month.

Furthermore, the Spanish outlet claims the appointment at the Parc des Princes of Mauricio Pochettino makes his transfer a stronger possibility.

Pochettino enjoyed a fruitful partnership with the midfielder during their time together at Spurs.

PSG were keen on Alli over the summer, but their prospects look even stronger following his mentor’s arrival in the French capital.

Tottenham want Angel Di Maria

The report claims PSG could seek to sign Alli on an initial loan deal with a view to a permanent move.

However, it’s claimed Mourinho has a bargaining chip in mind were Pochettino and PSG to firm up their interest.

They claim Tottenham want to bring Angel Di Maria to London as part of the deal for Alli. The Argentine is out of contract at the end of the season. As such, Don Balon claims Spurs have already made moves to sign Di Maria as a free agent this summer.

However, were PSG try for Alli it’s claimed Spurs could look to bring him to the club now.

Pochettino is said to rate Di Maria highly. But with his contract dwindling down, they would be left with little choice over the player.

Di Maria struggled during his year at Old Trafford and has often spoken out against the club.

However, the report suggests he could look to set the record straight with a second crack at the Premier League.
