Murphy twins to make an impact

admin

Norwich City’s demise from the Premier League to the Championship on the face of it seems an unfathomable circumstance. However, for some at the club; relegation has opened up a new world of opportunities.

Twins, Josh and Jacob Murphy eaned the plaudits during their successful FA Youth Cup victory back in 2013. Whilst Jacob was loaned out to Football League side Southend United; Josh was utilised in the first-team squad in sporadic patches over last season. Both brothers will be eager to seize this opportunity to gain first-team football at their boyhood club. Touted as exceptional talents, the twins’ chances in the Championship will be even more prevalent after former youth team manager, Neil Adams, was handed the full-time managerial position at the Norfolk outfit.

City’s disappointing campaign will be put to bed and next season will be a chance for certain players to make amends as Norwich attempt to secure an instantaneous promotion back to the top flight.

Relegation is never a good thing, yet, for these two starlets in particular; Norwich City can look forward to the coming season in anticipation. The exciting prospects emerging from Colney training ground should whet the appetites of City fans and become a refreshing distraction from the heartache of their fall from grace.
