Newcastle and Porto have finally reached an agreement over defender Chancel Mbemba, according to reports.
The two clubs have reportedly been locked in negotiations over Mbemba, who appears not to feature in Rafa Benitez’s first team plans next season.
According to Portuguese outlet O Jogo, the two sides have finally struck a deal at around £7million.
Mbemba has already reportedly already agreed personal terms on a four-year deal with the Portuguese champions, and the deal is expected to be confirmed in time for him to start training with his new club next week.
The 23-year-old has reportedly been told by Benitez to find a new club after the defender refused to follow Benitez’s instructions in a home defeat to Wolves.
