When is Newcastle v West Ham?

Barring any health emergencies, the game is scheduled to take place on Sunday July 5.

What time does Newcastle v West Ham kick-off?

The game is scheduled for an 2pm kick-off and is the second of four Premier League matches that day.

What is at stake?

It feels like a much bigger game for West Ham than it is for Newcastle. The Magpies have been excellent since the resumption of the Premier League and thrashed Bournemouth 4-1 in their last match to give themselves an outside chance of sneaking into Europa League contention.

West Ham also produced a big result in their last match, beating Chelsea 3-2 to edge themselves away from danger. There is still a huge amount of work to be done if they are to secure their Premier League status for next season, though, and a poor result at St James’ Park could see them back in serious trouble.

Where can I watch Newcastle v West Ham?

The match will be broadcast by Sky Sports.

Is Newcastle v West Ham free-to-air?

It’s not, no, meaning you are either going to need a Sky Sports subscription to watch it or buy a Now TV sports pass.

What is the team news?

Newcastle may be without midfielder Sea Longstaff after he was forced off against Bournemouth with an injury. Defender Florian Lejeune is certainly out as he struggles to regain fitness.

West Ham are on a high after that win over Chelsea and could be boosted further by the return of striker Sebastien Haller.

What happened in the reverse match?

Newcastle were in fine form the last time the teams met, winning 3-2 although the scoreline flattered West Ham.

What are the odds?

The bookies are struggling to separate these two, but Newcastle have been installed as slight 8/5 favourites. West Ham are priced at 7/4 with the draw available at 23/10.
