Neymar future resolved as Barcelona, PSG reach end of talks
Neymar is set to stay at Paris Saint-Germain after talks with Barcelona over a proposed move for the Brazilian broke down, according to a report.
Neymar‘s future has been a subject of speculation for a number of weeks now, with the European transfer window closing on Monday.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a return to Barcelona – the club he left for £198m in 2017 – but according to Sky Sports News, PSG were unwilling to budge from their valuation and the Catalan club were put off advancing with talks.
Neymar has not featured for PSG in any of their three league games so far this term, but is expected to travel to Miami to join up with the Brazil squad for the upcoming international break.
The report adds that the attacker will fulfil commitments with his club side following the international break.
Neymar has scored 51 goals in 58 games since joining PSG.
