Neymar rules out Barca exit after Utd link

Neymar became the latest big name to be linked with a move to Old Trafford by the English press last week, and though a move always appeared unlikely, the Brazil star put the speculation completely to bed after making his first appearance of the season in a 1-0 win over Malaga on Saturday.

“I want to stay at Barcelona, no matter how many million pound offers come from England,” he said.

He later told TV3: “The people from Barca can be calm.

“When I hear things like this, I don’t think anything. I just heard it and I am calm. I am very happy at Barca and with my colleagues.”

United are set to sell Javier Hernandez to Bayer Leverkusen but are unlikely to sign a new striker, according to reports.

Louis van Gaal is still looking for a new right-sided forward before the deadline and may make another move for Southampton’s Sadio Mane, but the likelihood is that the only new arrival may be Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen as a replacement for David de Gea, who is expected to join Real Madrid.
