Northern Ireland boss Michael O’Neill signs new four-year contract

Michael O’Neill has signed a new long-term contract as Northern Ireland manager, TEAMtalk can reveal.

A press conference has been called for Friday and we can reveal that he has penned a new four-year deal.

O’Neill turned down the chance to take charge of Scotland last month, and has now committed his long-term future Northern Ireland.

O’Neill, who also rejected the opportunity to take over at Sunderland earlier in the season, will confirm that he still has Premier League ambitions but is more than happy to sign a new deal with Northern Ireland.
