Orient, short on confidence following five successive defeats, had to play an early phase with 10- men as Jason Demetriou had a facial injury treated.

Whereas Orient went ahead as the interval loomed when, following their fifth corner, midfielder Wayne Gray met a Demertiou cross with a far post header which beat Neil Sullivan in Doncaster’s goal.

Rovers levelled when Orient failed to clear a cross from defender Gareth Roberts and striker Mark McCammon fired home from beyond the far post.

Orient midfielder Adam Chambers had a goal disallowed for an infringement on a corner while Doncaster midfielder Matt Mills hit a post as the visitors raised their game in a vain quest for a winner.
