Liverpool striker Divock Origi has hailed Reds team-mate Philippe Coutinho as “magic” and a “joy to play with”.
Coutinho was at his brilliant best as Liverpool closed in on a Champions League spot after a comprehensive 4-0 win at West Ham on Sunday.
The Brazilian bagged a brace, despite playing in a deeper role a the London Stadium, and Origi was glowing in his praise for the playmaker, according to the Daily Express.
“He has moments of magic,” Origi said.
“I think he has a lot of talent and he’s a top player and an experienced player and he’s still only 24, so I think that’s very special.
“He helps us a lot, is there in the big moments and for me he is a joy to play with.”
Coutinho’s two strikes against Slaven Bilic’s men took his tally for the season to 13 in all competitions and that has once again sparked talk of a potential summer switch to Barcelona.
Speaking about Barca’s reported interest just this week, Coutinho admitted: “I’m happy to know that a great club has an interest, it’s cool, for the recognition.
“What I have to do is keep working hard.”
