Origi returning to Prem, as ex-Liverpool hero undergoes ‘secret medical’ with deal agreed

Ex-Liverpool forward Divock Origi

Liverpool favourite Divock Origi is already in England and undergoing a medical, with Fabrizio Romano confirming an agreement with Nottingham Forest has been struck.

Origi, 28, left Liverpool as a free agent last summer ahead of joining Serie A giants AC Milan. But despite earning a reputation as a big-game player at Anfield, the Belgian endured a torrid time in Milan.

Origi notched just two goals and one assists in 36 matches for the club. Starts became increasingly rare and in turn, the chances of a premature return to England grew.

Now, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Origi is poised to grace the Premier League once again by joining Forest.

Romano tweeted Origi is already in the UK and is currently “undergoing secret medical tests”.

Origi will join on a season-long loan that will also contain an option to buy.

Romano concluded by giving the surprise switch his signature “here we go” confirmation.
