Pepe has attracted interest from a number of top clubs following his impressive start to the season with the French outfit, scoring six times in nine league outings.
And the report in the Daily Express claims that Gunners boss Unai Emery was very keen on landing the 23-year-old, attacker, despite Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette striking up an impressive partnership early in the season.
