Arsenal and Tottenham are both chasing a Real Betis defender, while there looks like being an almighty transfer scramble for Jadon Sancho this summer, all in Tuesday’s papers.

Tottenham and Arsenal will go head to head to sign Real Betis defender Aissa Mandi this summer, according to a report in Spain.

The north London clubs are both expected to sign a centre-back this summer and, according to El Desmarque, both clubs are tracking the 27-year-old.

Mandi has made 34 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish side this season and he is under contract until 2021 with the Spanish outlet claiming he has a release clause of around £26million.

The French-born defender has represented Algeria 42 times, scoring once.
