Paper Talk: Bournemouth name price as Liverpool rival Arsenal for attacker

Liverpool, Arsenal and a host of other suitors have been told the cost to sign a Bournemouth attacker, while Leeds’ hopes of signing a Manchester City man look to have stalled by a sky-high valuation, according to Tuesday’s newspapers.

LIVERPOOL JOIN ARSENAL IN RACE FOR RYAN FRASER

Bournemouth are reported to have stuck a £30m asking price on Ryan Fraser amid claims that Liverpool are ready to rival Arsenal, Manchester United, Everton and potentially Chelsea in the race for his signature.

The Scotland star has just 12 months remaining on his deal at the Vitality Stadium and finds himself a man in demand after some impressive displays fore Eddie Howe’s side.

And according to The Sun, Bournemouth have told any suitors that the forward will cost in the region of £30m if they want to sign him this summer. That’s despite the 25-year-old being available on a free transfer next summer.

Bournemouth, however, have made moves to keep Fraser by offering the player fresh terms – advances that he has, so far rejected.

Discussing his future recently, Fraser stated: “I’ve got a year left. There’s a very good chance I’ll be here next season.

“If that’s that then I’m going to try my best as I always do and I’ll enjoy it. I love the group here and the fans. There’s no bad side to what’s happening.

“There’s a good chance I’ll be here next season and I’ll try and beat my assists record next season as well.”

The report also adds that Liverpool are more inclined to wait a year and see if they can land the player for nothing next summer.

Fraser enjoyed his most prolific season of his career so far, scoring seven goals and making 13 others for the Cherries.
