Paper Talk: Chelsea, Arsenal to jump on Real Madrid fire sale

Arsenal and Chelsea are looking to sign a Real Madrid playmaker for a bargain £63million, while Man Utd are back in for a Tottenham star, according to Saturday’s Paper Talk.

The LaLiga giants are eyeing up an audacious, record-breaking move for Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe this summer, despite significant interest from Liverpool too.

But first they will need to find the cash, with in-demand Isco, 27, one of many stars set to be sold, as reported in The Sun.

Reports in Spain claim that no fewer than four clubs are chasing the Spain international – with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City amongst them.

PSG themselves are also pursuing the playmaker – and could lead the way to land him if they sell Mbappe to Madrid as part of a swap deal.

Isco, who moved to the Bernabeu from Malaga in 2013, has often been used from the bench by Real but has featured more heavily under Zinedine Zidane this season – playing in two-thirds of the available LaLiga minutes in 2020.

The playmaker is under contract until 2022 and Madrid could opt to sell while he still holds strong value – which is currently set at £63m.

While PSG are hoping to sign him, a report in El Desmarque claims a move to England is more likely.
