A top Fulham star is demanding a summer switch across London to Tottenham, while Man Utd have been handed a double transfer blow, according to Friday’s papers.
SESSEGNON PICKS TOTTENHAM FOR SUMMER MOVE
Ryan Sessegnon reportedly wants a transfer to Tottenham this summer as Fulham prepare to demand £35m for his services.
The 18-year-old has also been interesting Manchester United, PSG and Juventus but wants to stay in London and move to Spurs, according to the Daily Mail.
Sessegnon, who will turn 19 later this month, only has one year remaining on his contract with the relegated Cottagers but despite that, Fulham are still ready to demand a hefty fee for the youngster.
The teenager made 35 appearances last season, scoring twice and adding six assists as he continued to impress as one of the nation’s finest young prospects.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is a big admirer of Sessegnon’s ability to play as a left-back or a left winger, and with continued doubts about Danny Rose’s long-term future – a move for the Fulham star would not come as a surprise in any way.
Pochettino is said to want around five additions to his squad this summer, with Porto defender Diogo Quieros, Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, Barcelona’s Andre Gomes and Nice right-back Youcef Atal also said to be on his radar.
