Serie A giants Juventus have seriously upped their pursuit of Paul Pogba, while Andre Gomes is attracting fresh interest from the Premier League, according to Sunday’s papers.
JUVE PREPARE HUGE POGBA SWAP DEAL
Juventus are lining up a huge swap deal in the hopes of bringing Paul Pogba back to Turin this summer, according to a report.
Pogba’s future at Old Trafford is far from assured, although Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has publicly always said he wants to build a team around the France World Cup winner, but recently he hinted his plans could have changed.
Recent reports from the Italian press have suggested that Juve are ready to offer two of their stars in order to seal a reunion with the Frenchman this summer, and now the Sunday Express have provided an update.
They claim that the Serie A giants will offer Paulo Dybala and Alex Sandro to United in exchange for Pogba, and the Red Devils have expressed an interest in taking both.
Dybala, 25, has been a key player for Max Allegri’s perennial Italian champions in recent years, but hasn’t been quite as much of a first-choice option this season due in large part to the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo last summer seen as the main reason.
He has been linked with a big-money £105m (€120m) move to both United and Liverpool in recent months amid uncertainty over his future in Turin beyond this season.
Sandro meanwhile has been at Juventus since 2015, but has often been linked with a move elsewhere, most notably to Old Trafford.
Despite him only signing a contract extension in December, it is claimed that Juventus are ready to move the Brazilian on, with Italian international Leonardo Spinazzola having recently come into the side at left-back and impressing.
Dybala is reported to have a price tag of €120million, while Alex Sandro apparently carries a valuation of €50million.
