Paper Talk: Liverpool eye experienced Pole; Man Utd flop gets offers

Liverpool are considering a summer move for a PSG midfielder, while Manchester United are braced for offers on a star defender, according to Wednesday’s papers.

KLOPP CHOOSES IDEAL EMRE CAN REPLACEMENT

Liverpool could make a move for Poland international midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, a report claims.

According to The Sun on Wednesday, Jurgen Klopp is still keen on bolstering his midfield after losing Emre Can to Juventus.

This is despite spending big money on two replacements in Naby Keita and Fabinho, and the report states that Klopp is seriously considering Krychowiak as an option.

The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at West Brom from PSG, failing to impress for large parts of the campaign in a team which were relegated from the Premier League.

Former Sevilla boss and current Arsenal manager Unai Emery paid £24million to sign Krychowiak from LaLiga when he was at PSG.

However, his opportunities at the French champions were few and far between, meaning he could seek pastures new depending on the plans of new PSG boss Thomas Tuchel.

Liverpool also face competition from Lokomotiv Moscow for Krychowiak, while Sevilla have been linked with re-signing him.
