Nicolo Barella TEAMtalk

Liverpool are considering making an offer for a highly-rated Serie A midfielder, while West Ham have joined the chase for an unwanted Chelsea star, according to Tuesday’s papers.

Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has hinted that his summer business is done, after completing deals for Naby Keita, Fabinho, Alisson and Xherdan Shaqiri.

But reports in Italy are suggesting that Klopp is seriously weighing up a move for 21-year-old Barella, as mentioned in the Daily Mirror.

The midfielder, who has also been linked with Inter Milan, Roma, Atletico Madrid and Lyon, enjoyed an impressive campaign last term as Cagliari managed to avoid relegation from Serie A.

The highly-rated star has been capped at every youth level for Italy and was called up to the senior squad for World Cup qualifiers against Macedonia and Albania last year.
