Liverpool have decided against making a move for a Bundesliga midfield goal machine, while two Real Madrid stars have urged a Chelsea man to join them at the Bernabeu, according to Friday’s papers.
LIVERPOOL COOL INTEREST IN LEVERKUSEN STAR
Liverpool are not interested in signing Kai Havertz despite previous reports from Germany insisting that the Reds want the Bayer Leverkusen star.
Back in July, German news outlet Bild claimed that the Reds wanted to sign Havertz for €100million (£89.4m) but now Sport Bild reports, via the Express, that the Reds are in fact not interested in the talented midfielder.
Jurgen Klopp’s midfield currently lacks a player able to contribute a double-digit goals outlay, and with Havertz scoring 17 Bundesliga goals last season, it had been reported that the 20-year-old could be on his way to Anfield.
However, Sport Bild claims that Havertz is choosing between three teams to join next year, with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich the clubs mentioned.
Borussia Dortmund are also said to be interested but they are not considered to be in the same league as the illustrious trio linked with one of German football’s brightest young talents.
