Liverpool are set to move for an Aston Villa star, while Manchester United are ‘confident’ of signing a Chelsea winger, according to Sunday’s papers.
LIVERPOOL MAKE CONTACT FOR VILLA STAR
Liverpool have reportedly made contact with Championship side Aston Villa about a potential deal for Jack Grealish.
Villa are reportedly under financial pressures and may be forced to sell some of their star players to raise funds this summer.
According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on a move for Grealish as he looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new season.
The Anfield are yet to make a bid for the Birmingham-born forward,
Villa are reportedly demanding £40million for the England U21 midfielder, though their financial difficulties means they will have a hard time getting anywhere near their asking price for their talented youngster.
But according to previous reports, Chelsea are ready to spend up to £30million on Grealish and are willing loan him back to Villa for the 2018/19 season.
