Paper Talk: Arsenal track Blind; Matic swap deal?

Manchester United duo Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind could be heading for London, but Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic may make a move in the opposite direction.
UNITED AND CHELSEA PONDER SWAP
Manchester United and Chelsea are working on a deal that would see Nemanja Matic and Matteo Darmian swap clubs.
According to the Sunday Mirror, incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen on the versatile United defender, who had a mixed first year at Old Trafford after joining from Torino in a £12.7million deal.
With Jose Mourinho also keen to add some steel to his midfield with the recruitment of Matic, the clubs are said to be exploring the possibility of a swap deal.
ARSENAL WAIT AS JOSE DECIDES ON BLIND
The Sunday Mirror also hints at other exits from Old Trafford, with Arsenal linked with Daley Blind.
Blind was bought by Louis van Gaal two years ago as a midfielder but the Dutchman spent last season playing alongside Chris Smalling in the heart of United’s defence.
Steve Bates’ story says Mourinho does not believe Blind has the physique to be a top-class central defender. The former Ajax star’s versatility could mean Mourinho may choose to keep him around, but the Gunners are said to be monitoring developments.
Morgan Schneiderlin is also unsure of his future, with new Everton boss Ronald Koeman reportedly watching the situation closely.
SWANS EYE DOUBLE STRIKER DEAL
Swansea are said to looking to sign Liverpool striker Danny Ings and West Ham forward Enner Valencia.
The Sun on Sunday claims the Swans are looking to do £10million deals for both centre forwards.
Valencia knows he may be forced out of West Ham due to the club’s ambition to recruit big names before they kick-off at the Olympic Stadium.
The pursuit of Ings may not be so simple. The former Burnley striker missed most of last season with a knee injury after an encouraging start to life at Anfield. Ings is keen to impress Jurgen Klopp and unlikely to be open to a move before having the chance to stake his claim for a first-team place.
