Saul Niguez TEAMtalk

Manchester United are on alert after Atletico Madrid dropped their price tag on Saul Niguez, while United and Arsenal are chasing Sweden midfielder Dejan Kulusevski, all in the papers.

Atletico Madrid are prepared to lower their asking price for Spain midfielder Saul Niguez to £85m, claims the Daily Telegraph.

Only this week Mundo Deportivo claimed that Manchester United were interested in signing Niguez, but reported that Atletico Madrid would demand £128m for the transfer.

That is believed to be the value of his release clause in Spain, but Los Rojiblancos will now let him go for less if he wants to leave the the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium when the transfer window opens next month.
The 25-year-old, who has made 270 appearances, scoring 35 goals and providing 18 assists and who is a cornerstone of Atletico’s side,  is under contract until 2026.
