Paper Talk: Arsenal’s £53m Napoli swoop; Man Utd’s £50m raid

Manchester United are set to complete a £50million deal for a Juventus star, while Arsenal are looking at a powerful Napoli defender, according to Monday’s papers.

UNITED TO COMPLETE £50M DEAL FOR JUVENTUS STAR

Manchester United look set to complete a £50m move for Juventus defender Alex Sandro after the FA Cup final.

The Red Devils are reportedly ready to swoop for the £50million Brazilian before the World Cup after Jose Mourinho finally ran out of patience with Luke Shaw.

FA Cup final opponents Chelsea have also shown an interest in the 27-year-old but the report in the Daily Mirror (via The Times) claims that United have won the race to land the player.

Sandro, who played a key role as Juve won Serie A this season, is said to have asked Bianconeri chiefs to allow him to leave this summer.

The imminent arrival of the Brazilian seems certain to end Shaw’s troubled spell at Old Trafford, while Daley Blind is also likely to be moved on.
