Manchester United are lining up a move for Gareth Bale, while Arsenal have entered the race for a Leicester City star, according to Sunday’s papers.

MAN UTD TO MAKE SACRIFICE FOR BALE

Manchester United will sell Anthony Martial in order to fund a big summer move for Gareth Bale, according to a report.

The Mirror on Sunday claims that United boss Jose Mourinho has given the green light for the club to sell Martial in the upcoming transfer window.

The reports states that Mourinho has ‘lost patience’ with the forward and is now willing to offload him, with Juventus having already opened talks over a possible deal.

Earlier in the week, it was claimed that Martial had held talks with France international teammate Blaise Matuidi about joining Juve.

Meanwhile, Bale is still a target for Mourinho as he looks to overhaul his squad this summer, and Real Madrid are now apparently willing to sell the Welshman.

The report stated that a bid of around £50million should be enough to sign the 28-year-old, who has had a difficult spell at the Bernabeu due to injuries.
