Paper Talk: ‘Lonely, bored, ignored’ Sanchez makes Man Utd decision

Alexis Sanchez has actively asked his agent to secure him a move from Manchester United, while Chelsea have been priced out of a deal to sign an attacking target, according to Saturday’s newspapers.

SANCHEZ ASKS AGENT TO SECURE MOVE TO PSG

Alexis Sanchez has told his agent to help secure him a move away from Manchester United.

That’s according to a report in The Times, which claims the Chilean forward is feeling ‘lonely, bored and ignored’ at Old Trafford, does not get on with his teammates and does not like Jose Mourinho’s management style.

And it seems the player’s dip in form since moving to the club has also mystified United too.

The paper writes ‘Jose Mourinho is unhappy with Sanchez’s displays since he joined. At Carrington, a commonly used adjective to describe the forward’s performances is “average”, and the player himself is disheartened with his manager’s tactical instructions and management style’.

Sanchez joined United in January in a swap deal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan and is said to be earning a wage of £350,000 a week, plus bonuses, at Old Trafford.

But the paper reckons money has not bought him happiness and, despite a recent improvement in form, is said to have asked his agent to explore the possibility of a move to PSG.

The Ligue 1 giants held talks with him during in summer 2017 when it became apparent he would not be extending his stay at Arsenal, but they instead opted to sign Kylian Mbappe.

However, the paper reckons Sanchez will ask his advisor to try and resurrect the deal after he failed to settle at the club, or the Cheshire town of Wilmslow, where he with his fixer, Mauro and his two dogs Atom and Humber.
