Paper Talk: PSG star wants Liverpool despite huge Man Utd offer

A PSG midfielder favours a move to Liverpool despite a big offer on the table for Man Utd, while Arsenal ready to move for an Inter Milan star, according to Monday’s papers.

RABIOT FAVOURS LIVERPOOL MOVE OVER UNITED

Adrien Rabiot has reportedly been offered a huge £170,000-a-week contract to join Manchester United – but would rather move to close rivals Liverpool.

The French midfielder is set to leave PSG on a free transfer this summer after falling out with the club’s hierarchy and is keen on a move to the Premier League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to add Rabiot as part of his summer rebuilding plans, and the Red Devils have tabled a deal worth around £9million a year with a £4.5m signing-on, according to the Daily Mail.

And while Rabiot is tempted by the size of the offer, the report goes on to add that he would rather join the newly-crowned Champions League winners instead.

The 24-year-old has previously been linked with Tottenham, Arsenal, Barcelona and Juventus, but excessive wage demands prevented a move for him back in January.

The PSG youth product has made 224 appearances and scored 24 goals for his hometown club since his debut in 2012 but has not featured in Thomas Tuchel’s side since December after refusing to sign a new contract.
