Paper Talk: Real attacker wants Liverpool move; Arnautovic hint

A top Real Madrid star has threatened to quit the club over Liverpool’s reported interest, while a Manchester United defender is being tipped to join Everton, according to Monday’s newspapers.

REAL STAR THREATENS TO QUIT OVER LIVERPOOL INTEREST

Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio has reportedly threatened to quit the club amid interest from Liverpool.

Asensio is highly thought of at The Bernabeu and has tipped as Cristiano Ronaldo’s long-term replacement at the La Liga giants.

However, talk of PSG superstar Neymar arriving at Real is said to have irked the Spain star, who is now seriously considering his future at the club.

The report in the Daily Star (via Diario Gol) claims that the 22-year-old has told Real chiefs that he wants out unless he is given certain guarantees about his future.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the former Real Mallorca star and could be ready to swoop for the player after Nabil Fekir’s imminent Anfield switch was cast into serious doubt.

Liverpool will, however, face strong competition for Asensio, with Juventus and PSG also keen on the playmaker.
