Paper Talk: Zinedine Zidane makes huge decision on Man Utd job

Zinedine Zidane has made a firm decision about a return to management with Manchester United, while a Newcastle flop is a surprise big-money target for Bayern Munich, according to Saturday’s newspapers.

ZIDANE 100% WANTS MANCHESTER UNITED JOB

Zinedine Zidane wants to return to football management with Manchester United.

That’s according to The Sun, who have reported that the former Real Madrid manager is pining for a return to the dug-out – and has identified the Old Trafford hotseat as his next appointment.

Zidane has maintained a dignified silence on reports he is set to replace the under-fire Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, but the Frenchman has been heavily linked with the role and remains the bookmakers’ favourite to replace the Portuguese.

The paper claims Zidane is so desperate to take charge at United that he is undergoing an intense English language course in a bid to ensure he is ready to take charge of the Premier League side.

Mourinho’s future at United has come under intense scrutiny following a poor start to the season and due to a high-profile falling out with star man Paul Pogba.

United face a crucial clash against West Ham on Saturday, with anything less than a victory likely to see more questions asked about Mourinho’s future.
