Paul Pogba will miss Manchester United’s trip to Spurs this afternoon after the death of his father.

The world-record signing has not travelled south with the rest of the squad after been given time off by United.

His father Fassou Antoine, 79, passed away on Friday after a long illness.

Pogba has been struggling with a niggling injury and despite playing in the Europa League he has not played in the Premier League since Burnley at the end of April.

Jose Mourinho is already without suspended midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

Luke Shaw (foot), Ashley Young (hamstring), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (knee), Marcos Rojo (knee) and Timothy Fosu-Mensah (shoulder) have all been ruled out for the season.

Under-23 pair Axel Tuanzebe and Scott McTominay could feature after they made their debuts against Arsenal last weekend.
