Perisic gets new agent in a bid to force through Man Utd move

Manchester United are still hopeful of signing Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan for a reduced price despite news that the Italian club have adhered to Financial Fair Play requirements, according to reports.

Perisic bagged 11 goals and provided eight assists in Serie A last campaign, leading to reported interest from the Red Devils this summer.

However, reports claims that Inter Milan’s need to sell Perisic has diminished after they raised €30m of funds through smaller deals to ‘stave off sanctions by UEFA’ with the club needing to meet a June 30 deadline.

It is understood the €45m demanded by the Italians for Perisic is more than United were willing to spend as they were eyeing a preferred price of €30 million.

Perisic, who is thought to be keen to test himself in the Premier League, could yet demand a move and force Inter to negotiate a lower price with the Red Devils.

Fali Ramadani is Perisic’s new agent and has been, according to Goal, instructed to “take a far more aggressive approach” in making a move to the Premier League happen.

The Croatia international has been without Champions League football since his arrival at the San Siro in 2015 and he is understood to be growing frustrated by the two Serie A finishes of fourth and seventh.
