We’ve joined forces with the people at Open Goaaal to give you, our loyal army of TEAMtalk readers, a chance to get your thinking caps on and win a cracking first prize.

Open Goaaal comprises of a unique goal-within-a-backstop system which solves the age-old parental stresses of stray balls smashing windows, fences, plants and even precious greenhouses and conservatories.

Surrounding the entire goalmouth, the protective back-net is more than enough shielding for even the worst banana feet, and it’s great fun for all aspiring footballers both young and old.

I was lucky enough to receive one and it has been a massive hit in the Wilkes household, with my two young sons and my neighbours queuing up to have a strike at goal.

Open Goaaal’s patented design suspends a variable wall of invisible black netting (max 3m x 9.5m) from a line of bungee between two discretely painted poles which are securely rooted into the ground.  In the middle of the net is a stitched white football goal which is simply pegged back to reveal a proper three-dimensional goal without the need for poles, a frame or any other permanent obstruction. The unique system means that when not in use, the goal is unpegged and closed within seconds putting it quite literally out of sight…and out of mind.

It is also durable, weather resistant, and unlike many cheap plastic garden goals, extremely sturdy due its strengthened steel poles and professional netting. It can also be easily dismantled and moved to a new home when required.

Open Goaaal is available to buy at www.opengoaaal.com and the Standard size Open Goaaal is priced at £149 with a built-in goal size of 2.9m x 1.6m. A Large Open Goaaal is priced at £165 and measures 4.9m x 2.1m.

You can watch this video to see it in action after being assembled – and to win one, have a crack at creating a caption to go with this picture using the comment facility.

Remember to keep it clean and clear – and we’ll select a winner later this week.

Cheers
