Player Ratings: Terry and Willian star in Chelsea Cup win

Michael Graham

Chelsea booked themselves a FA Cup quarter-final berth with a 1-0 win at Wolves, but who impressed for Antonio Conte’s men?

Asmir Begovic – 7

The Bosnian came under pressure and dealt with it well, even if he wasn’t forced into many actual saves.

Kurt Zouma – 7

Shaky start from the Frenchman but grew into the game as it progressed.

John Terry – 9

Provided crucial experience and leadership at the heart of an inexperienced back three.

Nathan Ake – 7

Very impressive and showed why Chelsea see a future for him at Stamford Bridge.

Victor Moses – 7

A great, energetic outlet for Chelsea down the right wing.

Pedro – 7

Pressed into an unfamiliar defensive role as left wing-back, but helped himself to the all-important first goal.

Nathan Chalobah – 7

Didn’t let anyone down, but didn’t star either.

Cesc Fabregas – 7

Neat and tidy on the ball, as you’d expect, though not the creative force we know he can be.

Willian – 8

Willing runner all evening and top class assist for Pedro’s goal.

Diego Costa – 7

Seemed to get rattled early on and got a bit sulky before typically popping up with a poachers effort late on.

Eden Hazard – 7

Nowhere near his best, though I suppose he gets a day off now and again.

Cesar Azpilicueta (Substitute) – 6

Tightened things up when Chelsea had a lead to defend.

N’Golo Kante (Substitute) – 6

Similar intent as the Azpilicueta substitution and similar result.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Substitute) – 5

Little time to impress.
