Premier League striker subject of £38m bid from China

Leicester City striker Islam Slimani has emerged as £38million target for Super League side Tianjin Quanjian, according to reports in China.

Tianjin Quanjian have been linked with a vast array of strikers ranging from Chelsea forward Diego Costa to Leeds United front man Chris Wood over the course of January.

And now it appears Algerian international Slimani, who only signed for the Premier League champions in a record-breaking deal last summer, is next on their radar.

Slimani would reportedly earn a massive £300,000-a-week in the Far East and it is believed that he would have to be the one to force the big-money move as Leicester have no intention of selling him.
