PSG meet Chelsea man’s agent as summer transfer talk reignites
Two-time Premier League winner N’Golo Kante remains a target for Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to a report.
Kante’s agent Karim Douis is said to have met PSG sporting director Antero Henrique in London and Paris in the past few weeks and a deal could well be on the cards.
French publication Paris United claim the 27-year-old will change agents in December and report that a deal must be wrapped up this summer if it is going to happen.
French outlet 10 Sport in January claimed PSG had made Kante their no.1 summer transfer target as they look to improve their Champions League credentials.
But Kante, at the time said Chelsea waas “my club” despite this season’s failings.
“I am at home. It is my club, I am a Chelsea player,” he told the London Evening Standard.
UOL Esporte claimed in April that the Ligue 1 leaders were also lining up a move for Kante and claimed the player was valued at €60million.
The Chelsea midfielder won back-to-back Premier League titles with the Blues and former club Leicester City, but the £35million Chelsea signing could only hep the Blues into a fifth-placed finish.
Kante was a Antonio Conte signing, but the Chelsea boss’ uncertain future means there are question marks over numerous players and new PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is believed to be a fan of Kante.
